After work this evening, I made a detour on my regular Friday evening drive from Newbury to Folkestone to collect my mother in Winchester, so that she could have a brief look at the area where I live in Germany over this weekend. These are the unusual lamp posts in the centre of Nieuwpoort in Belgium.
