It is the second Saturday in November today, which usually finds me marshalling at the Köln-Ahrweiler Rally .... so I left home at 6:15 am to drive the 95 km to the start of the stage in the Eifel mountains.

Probably the least powerful car taking part in the event was this Fiat 500.

The most powerful car taking part was this ex-works Audi quattro S1.

Having owned three Renault 5 GT Turbos, I was delighted to see an ex-works (Jean Ragnotti) 5 GT T Coupe taking part.

I know that the constant rain and slippery roads are not ideal conditions for a Mustang, but the biggest disappointment of the day was seeing Erwin Dericks finishing this stage as the slowest car competing !!
