Back in Germany with temperatures below freezing, I found this amazingly colourful cut tree trunk alongside the Rottersee in Troisdorf.(Nikon D5000 : Sigma EX 70-200mm f2.8 : f2.8 : 1/125" : 120mm : ISO 400: 06.12.2010 14:32:05)
Alongside by contrast were the almost monochromatic reflections of this tree's branches in the Rottersee itself.(Nikon D5000 : Sigma EX 70-200mm f2.8 : f3.3 : 1/750" : 170mm : ISO 800: 06.12.2010 14:37:01)
