I stopped off on the drive home at the Castle Kommende on the outskirts of Bonn.

This castle is now a hotel with one of the top Italian restaurants in Germany.

This is also a great location for a wedding reception .... I know, because I had mine here in 1993, but luckily my ex-father-in-law paid the bill !!
